Gideon's Corpse

2nd post in 2 days, so that bodes well for this book!   Gideon's Corpse was a "hang onto your seat" kind of book.   Similar pace to the first of this series "Gideon's Sword".    I enjoy these authors (Preston & Child) and while the book isn't very deep, it is very entertaining.

You need to read the first, to really appreciate the 2nd, as you are introduced in depth to Gideon and his history in the first book.

Although I still enjoy their other series "Pendergast" more, Gideon is growing on me.   At times, I had to go back to figure out some of the jumps that were made in the book.   Overall, I enjoyed this book (a lot more than the past 2).

I would give it a 7/10.   Entertaining, fun, roller coaster type of read.   (maybe I will start rating all of the books)

On to my next book ... it is between a recommendation from a previous post - "My Korean Deli" and Anne Rice's newest The Wolf Gift" ... what a choice!!

Any votes???    I will go with the majority (and if no one votes ... will decide myself)
