I decided to post my favourite 10 books for 2012 as the final post of the year. This is not in order of preference, just a list. Most are from a series, and I have listed the name of the book, and the series it is from, in case you want to start from the beginning!
1. Shadow of the Night - D. Harkness (2nd book in the All Souls Trilogy - 1st book is Discovery of Witches)
2. Divergent/Insurgent Series (2 books) - V. Roth
3. Winter of the World - K Follett (2nd book in the Century Triology - 1st book is Fall of Giants)
4. The Raven Boys - M. Stiefvater
5. Inheritance - C. Paolini (final book, 1st book is Eragon in the Inheritance Cycle series)
6. The Wolf Gift - A. Rice
7. Game of Thrones - G. Martin (I have read 4 out of the 5 books ... this is the first of the series)
8. Sins of the Father - J. Archer (2nd book in Clifton Chronicles)
9. The Calling - K. Armstrong (2nd book in Dark Rising Series)
10. Clockwork Prince - C. Clare (2nd book in Infernal Devices Series)
I already have a large list of books to read for 2013 ... Tom Clancy's newest is at the top of the list (Threat Vector)
