1. Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children - Ransom Riggs
2. Threat Vector - Tom Clancy
3. Mad River - John Sandford
4. The Midwife of Venice - Roberta Rich
5. A Meeting in Corvallis - S.M. Stirling
6. The Red Tent - Anita Diamant
I noticed that last year I read a lot of Fantasy books, so this year I am mixing it up and reading a different selection. My favourite book of the month was Threat Vector. I always enjoy a good Tom Clancy novel.
The big surprise was "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children", I thought this was a horror book, and was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't. The creepiest thing in the book are the pictures.
If you want to start an interesting Science Fiction series that has lots of action and makes you think - try "Dies the Fire", by S.M Stirling, which is the first book in "The Change" series. A Meeting in Corvallis is the third book.
There were no disappointments this month, and I enjoyed them all.
Until next month ... Happy Reading!!
