The Calling - Kelley Armstrong

This is the second book in the Darkness Rising Trilogy.    It began in "the Gathering" with Maya Delaney and her friends finding out that their idyllic life was not what it seemed.   In this 2nd adventure, they begin to realize what is going on, and who they really are. 

I enjoyed the book but it went too quick and now I have to wait for the third book, and that will be awhile until it is released!  

Kelley Armstrong is a Canadian author and this current book is set on Vancouver Island. 

She brings a different slant to the Supernatural world and I like how she weaves her different characters together.    If you want more from this author, as I have stated in previous posts, try out her "Otherworld" series which starts with "Bitten".   I still think this is my favourite all time book from this author.
