A Storm of Swords - Book 3

Sorry for the delay, this was a long one, 1200 pages!   And yes it is book 3 of "A Song of Ice and Fire" by George R.R. Martin.  

I am getting addicted to the books and HBO series.   The characters continue to grow on you, and some you grow to despise!   The author continues to develop plots, add twists and turns that you don't see coming and gives answers to earlier books, and also brings in more questions.

I am amazed how he can have so many characters and keep them all straight.   I sometimes need to go back and remember who is who, and what happened.

And surprise, surprise, Jaime Lannister is starting to grow on me.    My usual are still favourites - Tyrion, Jon Snow, and Arya.  

You learn a lot more about what is beyond the "Wall", and I think this is my favourite part of the series at the moment.

I am also enjoying Season Two of "Games of Thrones" on HBO.   If you haven't yet, check out Season 1, I highly recommend it.   They have just signed on to do Season 3 ... hooray!

I will give this series a break, and save book 4 for a little while.  

Next book - The Calling by Kelley Armstrong.   I have been waiting for this one to come out.     I got it last week but was determined to finish A Storm of Swords before I started.   That time has finally come!
